Your Style U LLC is a limited liability company incorporated in the State of New York, USA. We operate the Style U booking platform at yourstyleu.com, a two-sided marketplace that connects clients with independent beauty and lifestyle service providers across Jamaica.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. By using the Style U platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Account data. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password, processed via Supabase Auth. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google profile picture through Google's OAuth service.
Provider onboarding data. Providers additionally provide a business name, biography, service category, service descriptions, pricing, portfolio photos, availability, and social media links during onboarding.
Booking data. We collect appointment details including the provider selected, service booked, date and time, booking status, and transaction records.
Portfolio photos. Photos uploaded to a provider's portfolio are stored in our file storage and are publicly visible on the provider's profile page.
Usage data. Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited are collected automatically via our hosting infrastructure.
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform. Each processor handles data only as necessary to perform its function:

| Vercel | Web hosting and serverless infrastructure. The Style U application and its API routes are deployed on Vercel. |
Payment card details — including card numbers, CVV codes, and expiration dates — are collected and processed directly by Stripe. Style U does not store, transmit, or have access to full card numbers or other sensitive payment credentials on its own servers. Stripe is a PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor.
We do retain booking-level transaction metadata (such as amount, currency, booking reference, and status) in order to maintain accurate booking records and support dispute resolution. This metadata does not include raw card data.
Your Style U LLC is a US-based entity and the platform's infrastructure is primarily located in the United States. Users of the platform are primarily located in Jamaica. By using Style U, you acknowledge and agree that your personal information is processed and stored in the United States and in other locations where our third-party processors maintain infrastructure, including but not limited to the United States and the European Union.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that any international transfer of personal data is handled in accordance with applicable law and that appropriate safeguards are in place.
We use cookies and browser-based session storage to maintain your authentication state and keep you signed in across sessions. These are strictly necessary for the platform to function.
We do not currently use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or behavioral profiling technologies.
We retain your account data, booking history, and uploaded content for as long as your account remains active. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by applicable law or is necessary to resolve outstanding disputes or enforce agreements.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@yourstyleu.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. Please note that deleting your account may affect your ability to access booking history or dispute records.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated policy at this URL with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
