Is Style U free for clients?+
Yes, browsing and booking is free for clients. A small platform fee is added at checkout, but that's it.
What happens if a client cancels?+
The deposit is yours to keep, whenever they cancel and if they no-show. There is no cancellation window.
What if I have to cancel on a client?+
The client is refunded in full, including their deposit and the booking fee, and you keep nothing for that booking. The same applies if you decline a request you were asked to approve.
How do I get paid?+
The deposit is held by Style U and released to you after the appointment. The remainder is paid directly by the client on the day via cash or card.
Do I need a website or tech skills?+
No. If you can post on Instagram, you can set up your Style U page. It takes about 10 minutes and your page is live immediately.
Can I use Style U if I work from home?+
Absolutely. Most of our providers work from home studios. Your public profile only shows your general area, never a full street address. Once a client books, you get their phone number to share exact directions directly.
What if I want to pause my account?+
You can pause your availability anytime without losing your profile, reviews, or settings. Cancel your subscription at any time, with no minimum term.
